Will Dollar Debt Be Wiped Out? Global Fiat Currency? Amero?

What would lend credibility to a conspiracy, at least in my mind, is if, in the aftermath of this crisis, we start hearing calls for a global world currency to better “stabilize” the system. The Amero, being advocated by some, is just a small step in that direction. Such a system being advocated, of course, would not be backed by anything tangible and stable like gold, but would instead be a global fiat monetary system, free to be debased/manipulated by whoever is in charge of the printing press. Were this to come to pass, this would be the ultimate checkmate by the banking interests and the whole planet would then become indentured servants to the banks. Let us see what proposals come out of this crisis and who’s proposing them.

From Council on Foreign Relations

Summary:  Global financial instability has sparked a surge in “monetary nationalism” — the idea that countries must make and control their own currencies. But globalization and monetary nationalism are a dangerous combination, a cause of financial crises and geopolitical tension. The world needs to abandon unwanted currencies, replacing them with dollars, euros, and multinational currencies as yet unborn.

Amero (definitely not made of gold)
