Thou Shalt Have A Professional Investment Counselor

Is that a question in the back row? Uh huh…uh huh. Yes, sir as a matter of fact Jason’s first commandment of successful investing is to become educated and be your own best advisor. That is true, but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a trusted professional investment counselor on your team as well.

The problem lies in the fact that there are a lot of parrots in suits squawking about Wall Street stocks in your standard broker’s office. What normally is the problem with these fresh-out-of-college advisers is they don’t buy the very asset they’re selling. In other words, their money is most definitely not where their mouth is.

The quality control solution we devised at Empowered Investor Network is to require all our investment counselors and area managers to buy the product (properties) that they’re recommending. It’s a great way to make sure we have totally dedicated and trustworthy people giving you information.

It’s important to have a trusted adviser who will be with you for the long haul. Presidents have expert advisors. Why not you? If you don’t understand something they’re saying, ask questions until you do. A good investment counselor is your wingman, tail gunner, and sidekick all rolled into one. You may disagree sometimes but you’re always on the same team.

So Jason’s 2nd commandment of successful investing is Thou Shalt Have A Professional Investment Counselor.
