Do you play the blame game?

This week on The Creating Wealth Show, Jason Hartman took up the topic of personal responsibility with guest John Miller, an organizational and development expert. Personal responsibility, or lack of accountability, seems to be suffering an outbreak of epic proportions these days. The result is procrastination, complaining, and blame.

This is no joke. Grown adults exist in a state of arrested development that has transported them back to eight years of age, and there’s nothing less attractive than whining, buck-passing grown-ups.

Here’s the problem. We’re spoiled. We’ve had it too easy for too long and have never suffered consequences for our bad behavior. We have no spine. We have no character. Sounds pretty grim, doesn’t it?

Maybe. Do you find yourself surrounded by co-workers who do nothing but blame and complain? When you step outside your body for a bit of self-analysis, do you find yourself to be the main complainer?

What’s the price for lack of accountability? In our opinion, you can expect lack of success in your life. Sorry, that’s just how it goes. When you learn to pick up the blame that belongs to you, you’ll spend far less time and energy trying to avoid it, and far more time discovering actual solutions to the problem.

Personal responsibility. Why not listen to Mr. Miller on The Creating Wealth Show and then give it a try?
