Charlotte – the land of milk, honey, and NASCAR!

Admittedly, NASCAR might not be your reason for investing in Charlotte but, as exciting as that might be for some, it’s got even more going for it than that. First, let’s look at the climate. Snowbirds fleeing the North meet Floridians tired of hurricanes in this ‘tweener area. Winters are mild and the big blows don’t usually make it that far up the eastern seaboard.

Charlotte is a growing, vibrant city, with the second largest banking sector in the United States. Add to that 5 professional sports teams, Lowes Motor Speedway and the unofficial status as home base for NASCAR.

But what about the properties? After all, it’s all about the properties. While not experiencing the upward thrust in property values you see in some of the coastal communities, Charlotte is a rock of consistency, with good homes in good neighborhoods selling fast, usually with more than one offer in place.

More reasons we think Charlotte is a great place to invest right now is it’s undervalued! Low property taxes, low utility costs, and an overall low cost of living. Think that will last forever? Not if the snowbirds and Floridians have anything to say about it. Charlotte is becoming a new preferred destination for retirees. A new retirement village of 3,000 homes is being built in the south of the city to meet demand.

Ranked third among large cities in the amount of young people moving there, expect Charlotte’s demand for rental properties to only increase. If you’re interested in being one of the landlords getting rich there, learn more about Charlotte at www.JasonHartman.com/properties.
