When is a good time to stop learning? How about never!
We’ve been doing this for a while now and some of you might have missed out on part of the foundational material covered previously. Don’t panic! Every once in a while we take a little trip down memory lane to refresh you (and ourselves) on some of the basic principles upon which Empowered Investor Network was founded. With the increasingly alarming pace at which it seems our banking system is unraveling, it might be that now, more than ever, is a good time to remind ourselves of Jason’s 10 Commandments for Successful Investing.

Take the time to understand your own real estate investments. After all, they are YOUR investments. No one else cares about them like you do. Sorry, that’s just human nature. We all tend to look out for number one and YOU have the vested interest in this case. We hope you have a diversified portfolio of income properties that are treating you well. Keep abreast of what’s going on, not only in that industry, but in the larger world as well. Everything is interconnected. We live in a global economy. Stay plugged in and try to devote at least part of every day to making sure this onward rushing train of modern society doesn’t run over your big toe or your whole body.
It’s true that information overload can be overwhelming. That’s why you need to exert a little discretion over which media and educational sources from which you draw upon. Don’t try to take it all in or your brain will implode in a cloud of dust. And also don’t forget that the Empowered Investor website is packed with all the information you need to continue the learning process.
